Evelyn James, the Demopolis City Chief School Financial Officer was recently nominated to represent District 2 as a finalist for the Robert L. Morton Award. This Alabama Association of School Business Officials (AASBO) award recognizes outstanding chief school financial officers devoted to going above and beyond to do their job and serve their communities. James, who has been the CSFO in Demopolis City Schools for the past 7 years, is one of 9 finalists for this prestigious award. Prior to her current position, she was the CSFO in Greene County for 5 years and the Child Nutrition Program Director for Demopolis City Schools for 9 years. The winner of the Robert Morton Award will be announced in May at the Annual AASBO conference.
