❤️ Red Ribbon Week at DMS! ❤️
Red Ribbon Week is next week, but our DMS students had the opportunity to hear an important message today from Jacy Werner-Porter and Mike Cook. Both shared powerful, personal stories about family members and friends whose choices had life-changing consequences.
Their stories served as a reminder that the decisions we make can have lasting effects, not only on ourselves but also on the people who love and care about us.
We are so thankful to Jacy and Mike for taking the time to share their experiences with our students and for encouraging them to make positive, healthy choices. We also want to give a special thank-you to our school counselor, Deborah McAfee, for arranging for Mrs. Porter and Mr. Cook to visit DMS and share their stories. ❤️
🐯 Once again, we could not be prouder of our DMS student body! Our students were respectful, attentive, and well-behaved throughout the presentation. They represented DMS exceptionally well!
