super Citizen Heroes
Second grade students graduated as Super Citizens from the Liberty’s Legacy program. Over the past few weeks, students have been researching and learning about the American flag, the Statue of Liberty, what it means to be a super citizen, voting, American leaders, American Government, and various American symbols and monuments. Upon completion of their study, students took a pledge that they would lend a “helping hand” to others and always strive to be fair, honest, and trustworthy.  Each class even honored a “hero” that they felt were super citizens in our community. We are so proud of our Westside super citizens!
