When we think of Demopolis Middle School principal Brandi Smith, we think of a dynamic and dedicated leader. Mrs. Smith attended Demopolis City Schools and graduated in 2008. She began her career as a 6th-grade science teacher. Her dedication and impact on students led to the role of assistant principal and then in 2022, Mrs. Smith assumed the role of principal at DMS fostering a positive and enriching learning environment. “I love the climate of the middle school; the faculty, the students. I love being a part of helping students navigate through this time in their lives.’ - Brandi Smith
She and her husband, Zac, returned to Demopolis to be closer to family and raise their child, Avery who is 18 months. She believes “Demopolis is a great place to raise children.”
