Continuing our spotlight for National School Counseling Week, Demopolis City Schools is so thankful to have Mrs. Deborah McAfee as the counselor at Demopolis Middle School. Mrs. McAfee has been in education for 31 years. Before she became a counselor two years ago, she was in the classroom. Her reason for choosing counseling is to make a difference in the lives of children. We all know she has done that for the past 31 years and continues. Her favorite part of being the counselor at DMS is helping students deal with the issues they are dealing with.
