Thank you Stephanie Kaylor and the Marengo County Soil and Conservation District for once again sponsoring a trip to Auburn University Fisheries, Gardens, and Poultry. The students toured the Aquaculture Fisheries, the beautiful Rand Center Rooftop Gardens, and the Miller Poultry Research & Education Center. We were treated to a fabulous lunch at the Edge. The students had a great time learning about aquaculture, agriculture, and the wonderful opportunities Auburn University has for our students.

The lesson consisted of reading the book, engaging in questions, creating a large caterpillar and then individual ones. A fun time was had by all!

The past few weeks have been incredibly productive for the Skills for Success program here at Demopolis High School. It is rewarding to see our students earning certifications that directly prepare them for the workforce. Recently, students completed modules in Carpentry Helper, Skid Steer, and Customer Service, with 31 students earning credentials.

Please help us thank Ms. Goodlett and Mr. Pittman for their dedication to Demopolis School faculty and students.
