Tomorrow, November 5, 2024, please vote YES for the Demopolis City Schools - 5 mill tax renewal. Note: This is NOT a new tax. Demopolis has been paying this one for 30 years and it has to be voted on to be renewed for another 30 years.
This tax provides approximately $1,000,000.00 per year for the DCS school system. Many of the athletics' expenses (maintenance, fields, some coaching stipends, etc), as well as facilities (all buildings) maintenance are provided through this tax since the State Department of Education does not allocate those type expenses. It also provides funds to help pay for teachers that are not funded by state allocations.
Please share this information with your family, friends, neighbors, churches, groups, etc. We NEED this 5 mill tax to be renewed.

Due to internet issues, the Tiger Ambush will be released on Monday, Nov. 4th. We apologize for the inconvenience.

The administration at Demopolis High School would like to make our families aware about an incident that occurred today at DHS.
The Demopolis Police Department did remove a student from campus, however, this was because of a non-violent issue. DHS students were not in harms way at anytime.

DHS students are not permitted to wear halloween costumes tomorrow, October 31; however, they are encouraged to dress up as rockstars for our spirit day Friday as we āRock the Indiansā.
