Tennis Sectional Update Part 2: Congratulations to Trey Pritchett #2 singles champion and Lawson Boone #3 singles champion!



Tennis Sectionals Update! All 3 of the womens doubles teams made it to the finals. 5 out of 6 womens singles made it to the finals. Boys Chandler Hutton and Trey Pritchett made it to the doubles finals. Lawson Boone and Trey Pritchett made it to the singles finals. Way to go!

Skills USA members had fun selling their handmade picnic tables and adirondack chairs at Rooster Day this weekend.




Demopolis High School students DHS students spent time at WestRock this past week learning about various job opportunities. They learned about careers that involve 4-year degrees, 2-year degrees, technical degrees as well as on site learning. Thank you to all of WestRock for providing this experience to our students.











Due to the threat of inclement weather, students will be released at 11:30 am tomorrow, April 10th.


Skills USA presented a $500 donation to Habitat for Humanity.

Houston Martin spent the day at Whitfield Regional Hospital job shadowing in IT with George Durbin of Collins Communication. Demopolis High Seniors participated in "Adulting Day" Thursday at the Demopolis Civic Center. They participated in 9 sessions ranging in topics from etiquette, legal and financial prep, hunting safety, interview process and paperwork as well as self defense and first aid. Thank you to all of our presenters: SouthFresh Feeds, Robertson Bank, WestRock, WarHouse Gym, BlackBelt Retrievers, Southern Care Hospice, Joy Collins, 17th Judicial Circuit Drug Task Force, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service.







Tuesday, April 9 - 9th and 10th graders will be taking the Pre-ACT and ACT while 11th & 12th graders will have a virtual day.


Cap and Gown Pictures have been rescheduled to April 5 in the DHS Auditorium.
