Trynnady Aldridge was the only participant from Alabama selected to attend Disney's Dreamers Academy, April 3-7, in Orlando, Florida. While there, she took a deep dive into culinary arts, met celebrities, made lifelong connections, and explored Disney World. Congratulations!

On April 6, JROTC hosted their Military Ball and awards ceremony. Richard Lessmann received the "Man in the Arena Award" that recognizes one cadet who displays the highest degree of leadership. Other cadets were recognized: Distinguished Cadet-Mason Goodwin, Superior Cadets-Alex Ameca, Richard Lessmann, Leonardo Taboada, Todleana White, Mr. and Mrs. JROTC- Christian Heaton and Emma Shook.

A big congratulations goes out to the DHS Girls Tennis Team. We are so proud of their accomplishments over this season.. The team competed in the State Tennis Tournament on Monday and Tuesday. The team was led by seniors Sasser Braswell and Anna Rene Lewis, who have qualified for State 3 of their 4 years in high school. Anna Rene finished 4th in the 3-seed singles bracket at the State Tournament this year! Congratulations on an outstanding season! The future is bright for Tennis at DHS!
