Congratulations to the DHS Golf team! They shot a total of 335 at Sub-State to qualify for the State Tournament. They will compete Monday and Tuesday in Auburn for the state championship.

Ben Lindsay, son of Austin and Beth Lindsay of Demopolis, has been selected by Demopolis High School to represent the school at the American Legion Boys State in Troy, Alabama, to be held on the campus of Troy University May 28-June 3, 2023. Alabama Boys State is one of the highest honors granted to Alabama students, who are chosen based on their demonstration of leadership, hard work, strong morals, and motivation in school and community activities. Boys State seeks to educate young men in the duties and privileges of American citizenship, and it is a program of training in the practical specifics of government and in the machinery of American politics. The boys are sponsored by American Legion Post 41 in Demopolis.
