Congratulations to our USJ Tiger Paws for the month of August! 
These students exemplify leadership qualities both inside and outside the classroom.

Demopolis City Schools will be closed Monday, Sept 1 in observance of Labor Day. Tuesday, Sept. 2 will be a Professional Development Day for Faculty and Staff. Students will not report to school until Wednesday, Sept. 3. Have a wonderful extended weekend!

Consent forms will be sent home with students today!

🗓 Clinic Date: September 4
📍 Location: All Demopolis City Schools

✅ Forms must be returned to the school nurse before the clinic.
💉 Participation is optional—students may also get their flu shot from their doctor or another provider.

Attention 4th and 5th grade parents: if you're student is planning to attend 4H Science camp, the deposit and paperwork is due Friday, September 5th.

It's Friday, which means it's shout-out day! These students were recognized for going above and beyond. They may have helped a friend clean up a spill, picked up trash on the playground, helped a teacher, turned in money they found, or were just extra kind in some way! Pictured are last Friday's shout outs and today's shout outs!

Mark your calendars for Grandparents' Day Lunch ! More information will be sent home next week. If you have a 4th or 5th grader, make sure to ask them which teacher takes them to lunch. Be on the lookout for photo booth forms! We will not be having a bookfair at this time.
