Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!
Our 4th grade teachers are in the spotlight today! When students get to 4th grade, they start changing classes! Teachers have one group in the morning and another group in the afternoon, which means these teachers educate around 40 students every day!

Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! We will be highlighting our faculty all week! Today, we would like to give a special shout-out to our 3rd grade teachers! These teachers are awesome!!

Today is School Lunch Hero day! We are so thankful for our cafeteria workers, Mrs. Edwards, Ms. Jones, and Mr. Alston, who keep us well fed with breakfast and lunch! We are also thankful for those who step in to help when the cafeteria is short staffed !
Mrs. Wideman and her father, Dr. Green, DMD came in to do a science experiment with eggs to demonstrate tooth decay. My class really enjoyed this experiment. Thanks Mrs. Wideman and Dr. Green, DMD!








Our 5th graders toured and learned about classes at DMS today! Thank you admin and tour guides! Students will be bringing home a blue and pink paper that needs to be signed and returned to their homeroom teacher by May 8th!

As part of our "State Testing Morale Campaign, our Peer Helpers passed out trail mix to teachers! Thank you teachers for leading us down the trail of success!

Autism Awareness bracelets are now on sale!

4th and 5th graders will be taking the ACAP ELA test tomorrow. It is very important that they be at school tomorrow. School will dismiss at 11:30 due to the weather.

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day and we don't know what we would do without ours! We appreciate you ladies!
