Thank you to everyone who sponsored a flag in honor of a veteran! We started building our field of flags today. We will add more flags during the week. Assistant Principial, Mr. Russell, placed his flag in the ground and told us about his time serving our country. If you sponsored a veteran, drop their name (or tag them) in the comments! Thank you for your service Veterans!!

Tomorrow, November 5, 2024, please vote YES for the Demopolis City Schools - 5 mill tax renewal. Note: This is NOT a new tax. Demopolis has been paying this one for 30 years and it has to be voted on to be renewed for another 30 years.
This tax provides approximately $1,000,000.00 per year for the DCS school system. Many of the athletics' expenses (maintenance, fields, some coaching stipends, etc), as well as facilities (all buildings) maintenance are provided through this tax since the State Department of Education does not allocate those type expenses. It also provides funds to help pay for teachers that are not funded by state allocations.
Please share this information with your family, friends, neighbors, churches, groups, etc. We NEED this 5 mill tax to be renewed.
