WES celebrated 1st grade grandparents and special guests today. We will conclude our celebrations tomorrow morning with 2nd grade.




The Book Fair is in full swing this week at WES!


Kindergarten students enjoyed visiting with their grandparents today at breakfast. We hope to see our 1st grade guests tomorrow!




Today’s math stations in Mrs. Stewart’s class consisted of math games!


We enjoyed seeing all of our Pre-k grandparents and special guest today. We look forward to having kindergarten guests tomorrow!


Today Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Campbell’s class learned about our sense of sight. They wore blindfolds to try to navigate around their room with only their hands to see if it was easy or hard.

Students learned about the Color Wheel and different types of lines in Art class.





Students in Mrs. Basinger’s class met their PBIS Class DoJo points for the week, so they got to participate in Fun Friday stations. Everyone enjoyed working together building, coloring, and playing computer games! #wespbis

Mrs. Meadows’ Pre-K class is learning about letter D this week. Today they enjoyed some yummy 🍩’s!


This week’s “Leader of the Week” is Jai’Ceon Johnson. He is a first grade student in Mrs. Hutchins’ class. Jai’Ceon chooses to follow the right path and makes good choices. We are proud of our new “Leader of the Week”.

Mrs. Little’s class has enjoyed some hands on learning of the Body Systems.





Second grade students have been participating in a scavenger hunt in computer class. They have been learning about the different parts of the computer and their function.
