Mr. McCurdy came to Mrs. Black's first grade classroom and did some fun Thanksgiving Day reading and coloring a turkey!
Mrs. Maher’s class worked on fine motor skills while learning about the first Thanksgiving. They made a bracelet to retell the story of the pilgrim’s voyage to the New World. Each bead represented a part of the story of the pilgrims journey leading up to the first Thanksgiving meal. ❤️🦃

Our first-grade students brought the magic of Balloons Over Broadway to life with their very own balloon parade! After reading the story, students designed and created imaginative balloon characters inspired by the famous Macy’s parade. They proudly showcased their creations through the halls, celebrating creativity, teamwork, and the upcoming holiday!

Mrs. Robinson's and Ms. Thomaston's first grade classes had a special visit from their community helper, Mrs. Dunn! She discussed Thanksgiving and they were able to make a special craft to wear for our Thanksgiving lunch!
Mrs. Basinger’s class enjoyed a special visit from their community helper while reading Balloons Over Broadway. Students were highly engaged and concluded the experience by designing and creating their own balloon floats
Pre-K enjoyed their Thanksgiving feast together on Thursday! They spent their “Thanksgiving” celebrating each other and the sweet friendships they've built this year.

She led a fun, hands-on activity that reminded us you can’t judge a book by its cover. The kids loved the walk-about where they shared their opinions on different Thanksgiving foods, and we wrapped it all up with a yummy fresh chocolate chip cookie! 🍪🤎

This week, in Mrs. Meadows and Mrs. Browns Pre-K class, we are learning all about Thanksgiving!
Yesterday our little learners became chefs as they made their very own rolls and homemade butter. The best part? Getting to taste-test their creations!
