Today, for American Education Week, we honor our Education Support Professionals (ESPs). More than 2.2 million K-12 ESPs work in public schools across the country. As critical members of the education workforce, ESPs meet the needs of the whole student, ensuring students and schools succeed. These positions include clerical services, custodial services, food services, health and student services, paraeducators, security services, skilled trades, technical services, and transportation services. Demopolis City Schools is grateful for ALL of our Education Support Professionals! Thank you for your continued commitment to make DCS the best it can be!

The pink ribbon has become the universal symbol of breast cancer, illustrating the cause, raising awareness, and bringing together the community as we show our support for loved ones battling or affected by this disease. DCS is proud to have among us faculty members who have shown tremendous strength in their fight against breast cancer, and we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate their resilience. Your strength and determination are an inspiration to us all. You've taught us that courage isn't the absence of fear but the triumph over it. Pink ribbons will be placed at each school and central office Friday to show honor and support for our faculty, staff, and community who have battled or been affected by breast cancer. We encourage everyone to wear pink or a hint of pink tomorrow for National Pink Ribbon Day.
