Friday, February 14, will be an e-Learning Day for all schools. No students will be on campuses this day.
Monday, February 17, DCS will observe Presidents Day. All campuses will be closed.

Scoliosis Screenings are this week at DHS, DMS, and USJ. Forms were sent home last week.
This is an opt-in program. Parents must have returned these forms signed in order to have their child screened. If we don't receive a form, they will not be screened.

Tonight's game vs. Jemison will be varsity only. The varsity girls will play at 4:00 followed by the varsity boys. We hope to see you there!


DHS will operate on a 7-period day on Thursday, January 23. Students will be released at 3:05 p.m. Thank you for your understanding.


Good News! Demopolis City Schools will return to normal operations tomorrow, January 23, 2025. While we did not get the snow we were expecting, we are thankful for this time to allow students to be out of the cold as well as letting this Flu virus run its course.
Thursday and Friday Westside, USJ, and DMS will be administering the practice ACAP test. Please make sure your student is present. We will see you tomorrow!!


Demopolis City Schools will be closed Tues, January 21 and Wed, January 22 for the possibility of winter weather and freezing roadways.
Students will return Thursday, January 23.

Due to the potential winter storm, Governor Ivey has declared a state of emergency for our area, Tuesday, Jan. 21 and Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Demopolis City Schools campuses and offices
will be closed both days.
E-learning work will be assigned for Tuesday only.
Students will return to school Thursday, January 23.
