CTE Spotlight: JROTC with Sgt Campbell!

The students have had a busy 2 weeks attending Marengo County Career Fair & Greene County College & Career Fair. They were able to talk with many colleges and industries about their future plans. The students had a great time connecting with the community and making plans for their bright futures.

CTE Spotlight: Computer Science with Kelly Gandy!

Ms. Davis’ class had a special visitor this week! Mrs. Tarpley, our DHS Librarian, stopped by for a fun-filled “Pete the Cat” storytime. Students enjoyed listening to *Pete the Cat: Rocking My School Shoes* and *Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes*. After the stories, the class played “Pin the White Shoes on Pete,” sang “Skinnamarink,” and shared lots of smiles and laughter. It was a groovy day full of reading, music, and fun! 🐾📚

🚔💙 Happy (Early) Resource Officer Day! 💙🚔
Resource Officer Day is officially Sunday, February 15th, but we couldn’t wait to recognize Officer Morgan for the incredible work he does at DHS!
Officer Morgan goes above and beyond to build positive relationships with our students, ensure our campus stays safe, and be a steady, supportive presence each day. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for our school community do not go unnoticed.
Thank you, Officer Morgan, for all you do — today and every day. DHS appreciates you more than words can say!

Last week we’re celebrated our incredible DHS counselors, Traci Pearson and Laura Holley! These amazing ladies work tirelessly behind the scenes (and front and center!) to keep our students on their academic paths, support their goals, and offer a helping hand whenever it’s needed.
Whether it’s scheduling, encouragement, problem-solving, or just being a steady presence, Mrs. Pearson and Mrs. Holley make a difference every single day. 💙
Thank you for your dedication, your care, and the countless ways you support our students and staff. DHS is better because of you!

Teamwork in action! Our Marketing students collaborated and learned how to use our new heat press to layout and create BETA Club t-shirts, using communication and attention to detail to create a finished product they’re proud of.
Demopolis High School CNP staff received a score or 100 on their Food Establishment Inspection Report! This group makes sure the students at DHS are well fed with nutritious and tasty meals in a clean environment! We are proud of our CNP staff! Pictured with CNP is Principal Mr. Fredrick Franklin.
