Here are more pictures of the wonderful people who made our Black History Month program so special.

Demopolis Middle School held its annual Black History Month program on Thursday, and it was truly phenomenal. Dr. Karen Braxton delivered an inspiring keynote address, emphasizing the powerful message: Be yourself.
In addition to Dr. Braxton’s impactful speech, numerous community members participated, representing African Americans in Labor—the theme of this year’s program. Their presence and contributions made the event even more meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Braxton, the community members, and Mrs. Mesha Smith and Mrs. Tracy Horton for organizing one of the most outstanding Black History Month programs DMS has ever hosted!

Happy Presidents Day. All campuses will be closed Monday, February 17, 2025.
