DCS will operate on a regular school schedule Friday, January 12.
We are monitoring the weather and will send communication if there are any changes.
DMS Basketball teams ended their home season Wednesday, Jan 10, 2024 versus Greensboro Middle School. The 7th grade boys ended their season with a loss 21-32, bringing their overall and final record to 6-8. The girls won 18-15, improving their record to 13-4. The 8th grade boys won 48-19, improving their record to 14-3. The final game for the season is tonight in Marion versus Breakthrough Charter School starting at 5:00!
DMS celebrated the teams with a final pep rally!
DCS will be closed Monday, Jan. 15, 2024 in observance of Martin Luther King , Jr Day. All campuses will be closed. Students will return to school Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2024.
No After School Tutoring on Wednesday, January 3rd.
After school tutoring will resume Monday, January 9th.

Exam Schedule for 2nd 9 weeks:
December 13 - Math and Social Studies Exams- exams are given during regular class time.
December 14 - English and Science Exams- exams are given during regular class time.
December 15 - Make up Exams only! Students will dismiss at 11:30.
Students return on January 3, 2024.
Demopolis City Schools students will return to campuses Tuesday, November 28.
Faculty will return Monday, November, 27 for Data day.

Have a great Fall Break!
We are excited about the repaving of Whitfield Street, between DMS and Gaineswood. Paving is expected to begin on 10/4 and be completed by 10/10. Beginning 10/4, East Whitfield Street will be closed to all traffic. Please see the information on our website about drop off and pick up locations for the next week.
