We had such a fun day at Pumpkin Palooza! 🎃 A big thank-you to all our amazing volunteers for helping make today’s games and activities a success!

Our students have been showing their commitment to being drug free through their awesome dress-up styles the past two days — 80’s Babies Are Drug Free and Y2KICK Drugs! They’ve rocked the halls with spirit and style!

Mrs. Sommers’ had a special guest today! Mrs. Angie Weeks, their Community Helper, stopped by for a fun story and a sweet treat!

Pre-K has been at the Playology Revolution, Early Childhood Education Conference! 🎨🧠
Our Pre-K team has spent the week learning, growing, and gathering so many new ideas to bring back to our classrooms! We can’t wait to share what we’ve learned with our little learners.
“Children learn as they play. Most importantly, in play children learn how to learn.”

Thank you so much to our administrators and leaders for allowing us to attend this conference!
Transforming learning, one joyful step at a time. 🫶🏻

Tomorrow is the last day to pay for Pumpkin Palooza!!!

Mrs. Garcia’s class was in the spooky spirit as they graphed their candy corn! Math can be oh so sweet!! 🎃🧡

Our Leaders Are Spooktacular This Week!

Our students sure looked GROOVY today!!!

Mrs. Stokes’ Pre-K class has been learning all about pumpkins. On Friday, students got to take part in carving a pumpkin for their classroom. Students got to feel the insides of the pumpkin too!

Yesterday, Mrs. Meadows and Mrs. Browns class learned all about the different parts of a pumpkin, they got hands on as we cut one open and explored all the “guts” inside! The students even helped decide what kind of face to carve!
Afterward, we read Spookley the Square Pumpkin and made our very own “Spookley snacks” using icing and graham crackers. 👻🎃

Mrs. Thomasson’s class celebrated their hard work today! 🎉 Everyone who passed at least 3 math and 3 reading iReady lessons enjoyed doughnuts and a movie this afternoon! 🍩🎬 Great job, 2nd graders!

Mrs. Basinger’s class had a wonderful visit today from their community helper, Dr. Amanda Pendergrass! They loved reading Room on the Broom together and taking part in a fun Halloween STEM challenge. The students worked hard to design and build brooms for each of the five characters, and their creations had to hold the characters while flying through the air!
Thank you so much, Dr. Pendergrass, for sharing your time and creativity with us! 🎃✨
